Delete Your Account and Data

1. Delete in the app (fastest)

On the parent's device, signed in to the account you want to delete:

• Open Scribblie.
• Go to Profile.
• Tap Delete account.
• Complete the grown-up check.
• Confirm the deletion.

Your account is deleted straight away.

2. Delete by email

If you no longer have the app, email privacy@heyscribblie.com (or support@heyscribblie.com) from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject "Delete my Scribblie account". If you used "Sign in with Apple" with a hidden email address, tell us so and we will help you verify the account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

3. What is deleted

• The parent account: email address and account user ID.
• Every child profile on the account: first name, age and the facts the friend learned.
• All drawings, friends, conversation text and friend voice clips.
• Your child's voice audio is never kept; it is deleted right after transcription.

4. What may remain for a short time

Database backups may keep a copy for up to 7 days before it is overwritten, and technical logs are kept for up to 30 days. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups except to recover from a technical failure, in which case we delete the account again. We keep information only where the law requires us to.

5. Deleting part of your data

To delete specific information without closing the account, or to ask what we hold about your child, email privacy@heyscribblie.com.

6. Sign in with Apple or Google

Deleting your Scribblie account does not delete your Apple or Google account. You can also remove Scribblie's access from your Apple ID or Google Account security settings.
