1. Strictly necessary and preference storage

• NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, first-party): remembers the language you picked on this website. Session only.
• scribblie-cookie-consent (browser local storage, first-party): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data or change your choice.

These do not track you and do not need consent.

2. Analytics (only if you accept)

If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how parents find and use this website. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded at all and Google Consent Mode is set to "denied" for analytics and advertising storage. After you accept:

• _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google, first-party cookies): distinguish visitors and sessions. Expire after up to 2 years.
• IP anonymisation is requested, Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off, and advertising storage stays denied. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.
• Google Analytics data is kept for 2 months in our Google Analytics account.

3. Changing your choice
