For creative adults
Sketch a character. Hear it talk.
Scribblie is playful rather than professional, and it is honest about that. If you sketch for fun and like the idea of your own characters answering back, this is for you.

Your lines stay yours
Your sketch is animated as drawn. Nothing is restyled or replaced.
Fast to alive
Draw or photograph, wait a short while, and the character breathes, talks and moves.
Character voice
Each character gets a name, personality and voice and remembers you.
What it is not
It is not animation software. You cannot keyframe, export film or build a scene yourself. For frame-by-frame work, the guides on flipbooks and stop-motion will serve you better. Scribblie’s motion set is deliberately small: idle, talk, walk, jump and react.
Drawings that work best
Bold outlines, a clear body with separated limbs, and a face. Heavily overlapping limbs or very faint pencil are the usual causes of odd results.
Common questions
Can I export the animation?
Not currently. Export and sharing are not part of the first release.
Is it free?
There will be a free plan and an optional Scribblie Family subscription. Prices are announced at launch.
