For teachers

Let pupils meet the character they drew.

A drawing that comes alive is a hook for storytelling, speaking and describing. This page is honest about what Scribblie does today and what a classroom would need.

Where it can fit

  • Storytelling starters

Pupils draw a character, meet it, and write or tell what happens next.

  • Describing and speaking

Explaining a drawing to its character builds vocabulary. Younger pupils can say what it looks like and what it can do.

  • Art with a payoff

Paper drawings can be photographed, so the art lesson stays an art lesson.

What is not there yet

There are no school accounts, class lists or teacher dashboards today, and we have not completed a school privacy review. Scribblie is built as a family app first. If classroom use matters to you, tell us on the waitlist form; we will not invent features, but we will listen.

Ideas that need no app

Our guides include classroom drawing ideas, flipbooks and paper-puppet projects you can run with pencils alone.

Common questions

Is there a school plan?

Not yet. Today there is only the planned free plan and Scribblie Family for households. Choose “Teacher” on the waitlist form so we know there is demand.

Can I use it with a whole class?

Not at launch. It is designed for one child or family, with a grown-up in charge, not for class management.
