For parents

The drawing your child made, talking back to them.

Scribblie is for the child who draws a monster on every page and wants to know what it would say. You stay in charge, the drawing stays theirs, and it is built to start conversations, not replace you.

What your child gets

  • Their own art, alive

Not a stock character: the crayon dragon from the fridge, with its wobbly legs.

  • Naming and imagining

The character asks its name; children often invent a whole personality. It is a nudge into pretend play and storytelling.

  • Small lessons

Gentle “why” answers and little adventures, such as finding an apple or a rainy day.

What you control

A grown-up check and your consent come first. You can delete everything in the app. There are no ads and no chatting with strangers. See the safety page for the details and what we have not finished.

Best used together

Draw at the table, photograph it, meet the character together, then ask your child what it wants to do next. The guides below have ideas for conversations, screen time and keeping paper drawing alive alongside it.

What it will cost

A free plan to start, and an optional Scribblie Family subscription with a free trial. Prices are announced at launch.

Common questions

What ages is Scribblie for?

We have not published an age rating yet. It is designed for children who can draw and talk, with a grown-up nearby. We will set the rating with the stores at launch.

How much screen time does it add?

That is up to you. Our guide on screen time and drawing apps explains how to set limits and what to look for.

Will it replace paper drawing?

It is meant to start from paper drawing, since you can photograph a drawing. Many families use it as the “and then what happens?” step.
